Zheravna
A few kilometres from Kipilovo is the beautiful village of Zheravna. Set on a hillside around winding cobbled streets, the village consists entirely of buildings constructed in the Bulgarian vernacular style (popularly known as the Bulgarian National Revival Style), with characteristic overhanging roofs and built with wood and stone.

Though it remains entirely 'unspoiled' – even by Stalinist regime which recognised its unique character and left it untouched – there are a number of very good hotels, restaurants, bars and museums in the village. It is well worth a visit or an overnight stay.
