The nearest airports are Bourgas and
Plovdiv, but you can still get to us from Sofia or Varna.
There are coaches direct from Sofia to Sliven (the nearest
city). Here are some of the airlines we have used:
Cheap flights if you book early & easy to use online.
They fly daily to Sofia from Luton Airport. Flights to Bourgas begin on 9th June 2007
They have flights only as well as package holidays.
They fly from Gatwick (and regional airports) to Plovdiv during
the winter season. Friendly staff. Better to phone rather
than use online. Flights to Bourgas will start in May 2007
for the summer season.
British Airways flies to Sofia and Varna from London Heathrow.
Easy to use online, but again, the earlier you book, the cheaper
it is.
